To enhance your overall experience with Evolent, we are streamlining access to our specialty services and simplifying how you submit requests. Currently, providers use two separate Evolent portals - CarePro and RadMD. To simplify and improve this experience, we are transitioning to a single Evolent Provider Portal. Over time, specialty programs currently managed in CarePro will gradually migrate to the singular Evolent Provider Portal experience built on RadMD. This change is based on feedback we heard directly from you – our provider portals users – and is part of our ongoing commitment to making it easier for providers to access the tools and information they need in one convenient location. |

What’s Changing First |
As part of our transition to a single Evolent Provider Portal, the interventional cardiovascular program will be the first specialty service to move from CarePro. This change takes effect on November 1, 2025, and applies to the following health plans only:

What This Means for You |
Beginning on November 1, 2025, providers submitting interventional cardiovascular requests for the health plans listed above will need to use the newly consolidated Evolent Provider Portal (RadMD) instead of CarePro. Providers can expect the following portal enhancements:
Streamlined Prior Authorization Experience for Imaging and Cardiology Services: Providers will benefit from a unified portal that simplifies the submission process across Evolent-managed specialties—including cardiac, advanced imaging, and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The RadMD platform enables efficient request entry by allowing providers to select procedures first. Enhanced system performance ensures faster load times and greater reliability, while the consolidated platform supports accelerated delivery of new features and usability improvements for a continuously optimized provider experience. New Requests: Starting on November 1, 2025, all new prior authorization requests for interventional cardiovascular should be submitted through the Evolent Provider Portal (RadMD). Existing Requests: Requests submitted in CarePro before November 1 will continue to be processed in CarePro until completion. For questions regarding CarePro authorizations, please contact 1.888.999.7713. Providers will retain access to all Wellcare authorization history in CarePro until 7/1/2026. Providers should continue using CarePro for all other specialty programs and health plans not yet transitioned to the Evolent Provider Portal (RadMD). Action Required: If you haven’t already, be sure to register for access to the Evolent Provider Portal (RadMD) to ensure uninterrupted submission of prior authorization requests as programs transition.
